London Farmers Markets

Food cooked with cheap vegetable oils, jam-packed with preservatives and genetically modified ingredients, is food I consider to be “dead”. By sourcing food from your local Farmers Market you can guarantee that you will be buying the most fresh, in season produce, which is not only a lot tastier, but will immediately make you feel fresh and energetic!

I love the community feel of going to chat to farmers about their produce, at the farmers market, and often leave enthused to cook up a nice meal. However, for those with too little time on their hands their is always the fail safe option of subscribing to a farm box deliveries, such as Riverford Organic Farmers or Farm Drop.

On a sunny day, there is no more enoyable market in London — be it fresh fruit and vegetables, seafood, cheese, bread, juices or delicious, freshly prepared grub, Ally Pally has it all.

Brockley Market

Located in Lewisham College car park, this friendly weekly market makes a great place to pick up some quality groceries. Highlights include organic meats from Jacob’s Ladder, free-range poultry from Fosse Meadow, organic veg from Wild Country Organics and excellent Spanish cheeses and chorizo from Flavours of Spain.
